Meet the Board: Amy Snell

AMY SNELL

Amy is a resident board member who has lived in the Warehouse District since June 2012 and is a transit planner for RTA on West 6th Street

Q: Why did you want to serve on WDI Board of Directors?

A: As a resident and a planner, I've always wanted to be more involved in the neighborhood and Downtown Cleveland and create positive change.  In 2015, I joined the Marketing Committee and was a part of creating the Java & Jive music series which is now Warehouse Wednesdays. Most recently, I've been working with the Place Committee to improve public spaces in the neighborhood. When I was invited to join the Board, I welcomed the opportunity to become more involved in the Warehouse District.

Q: What was an entertaining, COVID friendly thing you did last year?

A: I loved the neighborhood Halloween Scavenger Hunt!  It took a while, but we found all the hidden items - it was really fun exploring and also getting to know the local businesses a bit better.

Q: What are a few of your neighborhood favorite things?

A: Eating the lobster risotto at Blue Point's happy hour; a lunchtime bento box from Hanabi; and the beautiful hanging flower baskets in the summer.

Q: Fun Warehouse District Fact about myself?

A: I've lived in 3 buildings in the neighborhood in the last 9 years, each have their own character and charm.
