Q: How long have you lived Downtown?

A: I've lived Downtown now for just over 2 years, but honestly it felt like home the second I toured my building. I knew it was the place for me.

Q: What’s the best thing about your apartment?

A: The best thing about my apartment is the incredible community among our residents - both people and dogs. But in all seriousness, I have formed friendships with people in my building that I truly consider family. Apart from the people, the green common space is unmatched, especially in the middle of a city. It's a literal oasis.

Q: What is your job?

A: I'm the Social Media Manager at Sherwin-Williams and am so lucky to have an incredibly talented, kind, and hardworking team. Do I walk past our new and quickly rising HQ building every day? Yes. And am I counting down the days until we move in to it? Also, yes.

Q: What do you enjoy most about your Downtown / Warehouse District lifestyle?

A: Walking! Walking to the office, to meet friends, to the waterfront, to bars and restaurants, to my polling location to vote, to the grocery store, to concerts, to game day.... the list goes on and on. Enjoying my neighborhood by foot allows me to see and appreciate more of what's happening around me than I would from my car.

Q: What are your favorite things to do and places to go in the Warehouse District?

A: Taza (Don't sleep on the chicken salad or hummus with housemade hot sauce). Map Room. Lulo. Chop (Do you know about their back patio?) Phoenix Coffee. And I'm anxiously awaiting Luna to open their new location! Apart from restaurant and bar hopping, you can usually find me at a local event or on the water in my kayak.

Q: What’s something you want other people to know about Downtown / the Warehouse District?

A: I would share that despite what you might think, Downtown residents are not just recent college grads. I live with people from all walks of life who love being in the city for so many different reasons. At the end of the day, you can make Downtown living exactly what you want and need.

Thanks for being part of our amazing Warehouse District and Downtown Cleveland community, Taylor!
