Warehouse District Anthology
Corrie Slawson, Anthology Artist
Designed like book pages for the street, each chapter explores the rich history of Cleveland’s first neighborhood and is a creative collaboration between Thomas Yablonsky, Executive Director of Historic Warehouse District Development Corporation (HWDDC), author of each accompanying historical narrative, and artist Corrie Slawson.
The various chapters in the anthology draw inspiration from evolution of the Warehouse District using imagery, style and graphics to immerse the viewer in the various eras of the District - from Cleveland’s early settlers to the demise and rebirth of thriving residential district.
A walk through the neighborhood will reveal the Warehouse District’s deep and continuing story that is rich in architecture, industry and heritage.
