Warehouse District Anthology – Public Art
Warehouse District Anthology is a collection of stories that tell the history of Cleveland’s first neighborhood. Designed like book pages for the street, each freestanding element is the artistic creation of artist Corrie Slawson which explores the history curated and written by Thomas Yablonsky.
Each chapter in the anthology draws inspiration from evolution of the place. Imagery, style and graphics are used to immerse the viewer into the various eras of the District from Cleveland’s early settlers to City’s innovative businesses and industry to the demise and rebirth of thriving residential district.
A walk through the neighborhood will reveal theWarehouse District’s deep and continuing story that is rich in architecture,industry and heritage.
